- Folk Band -

Some of the traditional musicians who regularly play at the very popular
Thursday night sessions in the Cwmanne Tavern, Cwmanne, Lampeter

- Emma Davies -

Originally from South Wales, Emma now lives in Lampeter, where she has resided for the past 10 years.
Singing and performing has played a big role in Emma's life from an early age,
particularly during her school years where she participated in many musical productions.
She has also played a small role in a Welsh National Opera Production
of Noyes Fludde, by Benjamin Britten.
However, Emma feels that her most memorable singing achievement is being shortlisted
from 800 applicants for the chance to re-release Queen's 'Who Wants To Live Forever' back in 1989.
Although she was not the overall winner, she was invited to perform at the famous Abbey Road Studios
alongside the Queen guitarist Brian May, which was an amazing experience.
Nowadays Emma sings purely as a hobby, but is very much looking forward to performing some
of her favourite songs at this year's Children In Need Concert, which hopefully will be a lot of fun
and a great opportunity to raise money for some very worthwhile causes
